Shipping & Return Policy

1. Overview

At Exotic Hardwood Floorings, we are committed to providing reliable and secure delivery of our premium hardwood flooring products to customers across Canada. This Shipping Policy outlines the terms, responsibilities, and procedures related to the shipment and delivery of all orders.

By placing an order with us, the customer agrees to all terms stated in this Shipping Policy.


2. Shipping Coverage

We proudly ship to all provinces and territories across Canada, including Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Quebec, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, and Prince Edward Island.

All orders are shipped via trusted freight or courier partners to ensure safe and efficient delivery.


3. Order Processing and Shipping Confirmation

Once your order is confirmed and full payment (including shipping charges) is received, it is officially processed for dispatch.

  • Orders are typically processed within 3–7 business days, depending on stock availability and destination.

  • Once the shipment is dispatched, the customer will receive a shipping confirmation email containing the tracking number and carrier details.

Please note: No cancellations, refunds, or reshipments are permitted after order confirmation and payment.


4. Shipping Charges

Shipping costs vary based on location, product dimensions, weight, and delivery method.
All shipping fees are non-refundable once payment is made and the order is processed.

We are not responsible for delays or additional charges caused by:

  • Incomplete or incorrect shipping addresses

  • Missed delivery appointments

  • Carrier-related delays or weather interruptions


5. Delivery and Acceptance

All shipments are delivered to the address provided by the customer at the time of order. The customer (or their authorized representative) must be available to receive the delivery.

Upon receiving the delivery:

  • The customer must inspect all goods immediately before signing any delivery receipt.

  • Any visible damage, shortage, or defect must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

  • Proper photo or video evidence must be provided to support any claim of damage.

If no report is made within 24 hours, the shipment will be deemed received in good condition, and no claims or complaints will be accepted afterward.


6. Damaged or Defective Items

While we take utmost care in packaging and shipping, occasional transit damage can occur.
If you discover any visible defects, missing items, or damages:

  1. Do not install or use the flooring.

  2. Take clear photos or videos of the affected product(s), packaging, and shipping labels.

  3. Report the issue to Exotic Hardwood Floorings via email at info@exotichardwoodfloorings.com within 24 hours of delivery.

All reports received after this period will be declined and considered invalid.

Please note:

  • Damage caused during installation, handling, or improper storage by the customer is not covered.

  • We do not accept returns, reshipments, or refunds once the order has been delivered.
